TECHNICAL-LEGAL EXPERTISE
Methodical and rigorous implementation
COMMISSIONING
Commissioning, in layman's terms, is a professional and technical support process aimed at ensuring that the construction of a building meets the design criteria and client's needs while adhering to the plans and specifications provided by the designers. Typically, it is the building owner or project manager who appoints the commissioning agent, who operates independently from the construction and design teams.
Various guides and established guidelines exist for conducting commissioning activities. We believe that it should be an efficient and practical process, leading to a smooth and timely delivery of a construction project.
Buildings are becoming increasingly complex. Both their design and construction must comply with energy efficiency criteria, building standards, schedules, and budgets. Increased complexity and interactivity raise the possibility that omissions, errors, or deficiencies may have a significant impact on the performance, functionality, durability, and energy efficiency of the final product.
Quality commissioning helps plan, coordinate, and ensure the implementation of a well-established and documented process throughout the project, verifying the owner's requirements and their execution from pre-conception to building delivery.
OUR APPROACH
Since 2010, Geo-Energie has carried out dozens of commissioning and recommissioning assignments, many of which have achieved high-level certifications such as LEED Platinum, PassivHaus, or WELL.
Our approach to commissioning sets us apart from the competition due to our practical sensibility and entrepreneurial experience in the construction industry. Additionally, our experience in building legal expertise promotes a proactive approach, limiting errors and technical issues that are often discovered late during the start-up of electromechanical systems.
